Okay, So first of all, I want everyone to know that I'm not stepping away from sim with any bad feelings, or anything I feel like I should have done different, The time is just right to step away and retire from Pro racing, I have had an amazing time racing Pro since 2010-11. I don't have the drive and will to put down the amount of hours to be at the top of my game anymore, And to be honest I'm all good with it. This is the first time since starting racing at a Pro level that I'm actually totally fine with my decision to step away, It might be corny to some people to make an official retirement post, But this Mx Sim Community have been a huge part of my life for the last 10+ years, and it just feels right to tell you guys that I have had the time of my life doing it. But its finally time to do something different and focus on life in general and maybe pick up some other games, time will show. I have so many good memories that I don't even know where to start. Everything from winning the 250 World Championship twice, to the American 250 Outdoor title. I even learned to speak English from this game! It has been he highest of highs and the lowest of lows, But looking back at it, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
I don't even know where to start with thanking people. I've been on so many different Teams and gotten to know so many different people that I call my friends to this day, and probably will be friends with for many years to come. So this is the end of the road for me. I'm going to try to name some Key people to my success and some of my teams over the years.
Kellen Brauer, Robert Nash, Mike Owen, Tysen Fresquez, Jeremy Cohenour, Jeremy Hinners,Braden Carter,Caden Speck, Erik Haugness, Tyler Lang, Jon Rawlins, Byron Downen and so so many more people. You guys know who you are and I appreciate all of you. I also want to say a huge thank you to my Teams over the years and the people on them. MotoOption Barry Motorsports Splitfire 6D Mv Films Phils Ski and Snowboard The whole team at MXS Magazine would like to congratulate Dennis on a great career and wish his the best luck on whatever path he takes next! Go kill it dude. |
A few words from his good friend Erik Haugness.....I remember watching a lot of Kellen's race streams from RF outdoors and supercross races when Fjeldberg was in the 250 class, and from watching his racing and how good he was riding, his aggressive riding style and sending big whips mid moto's, I started looking up too him and I still do. Dennis's career has been a good one, he has become a champion and got a lot of podiums. Dennis has been one of the best non US riders in the game, he has had the most wins in the European Mx Simulator federation, 6 championships and 31 wins in the 250 class. Dennis has been a role model, a best friend, a brother and a good coach for me, he has helped me a lot since 2017/2018 when we started playing Mx Simulator with each other. Dennis has always seen what I can be capable of doing and seen the progress I have made, he has told me what to focus on and practice on. I have had a lot of fun and many hours playing Mx Simulator with Dennis, so I'm really happy about his career and how he has pulled out good results. Thank you for all the laughs, good times and your hard work and dedication brother, you will be remembered as one of the best. |
